Changes to account login (two-factor authentication)

To ensure the highest standard of data protection for our Customers when accessing qualified trust services, we have introduced mandatory two-factor authentication for logging in to our electronicznypodpis.pl website.

Why are we doing this?

Two-factor authentication is the most effective barrier against unauthorised access to your account. The new process is intuitive and is designed to increase the security of your account.

What will change from Tuesday, 28 October 2025?

After entering your username (email address) and password, the system will ask you to provide a second verification factor.

The second factor is a 6-digit code that will be sent to your email address (provided as your username) the first time you log in. The code is valid for 15 minutes.

If you do not have access to the email address associated with your account on our website, you will not be able to log in. In this case, you need to create a new account associated with a current and accessible email address.

Login options – what you need to know

You can change the verification method after your first login. Simply go to the “Security and login” tab and change the method in the “Two-factor login” section.

New users will select their verification method when creating their account.
