In practice, to obtain a timestamp from KIR, you must use the Szafir application or programming components providing automatic time-stamping for an electronic signature under a given document. Each e-signature can be time-stamped both at the time of its creation and verification. The time-stamping service is provided via the HTTP protocol. A person authorised to get time markers sends a signed request for a time stamp to a specific web address, which is verified by the time-stamping service access servers. If the signature under the request is positively verified, a time stamp is generated.
VAT invoices for the provision of time-stamping services with standard calculation are issued once a quarter, after the end of the quarter. In case of subscription fees, they are issued in accordance with the period resulting from the subscription, that is at the beginning of this period. After the subscription period ends, fees are charged for additional time markers issued after the subscription limit was reached. Invoices for additional time markers are issued within 7 days of billing. Additional time marker fees may also be added to the next subscription invoice. The payment date is 14 days of issue of the VAT invoice.
