Can I take my certificate with me if I leave my job?

The certificate is assigned to a natural person. That person may not make their cryptographic card containing the private key available to anyone, including their employer. In some cases, the employer may revoke the certificate (this applies when the employer’s details are included in the certificate). Therefore, as a rule, an employer cannot force an employee to hand over the device containing the private key. Please note that such a device cannot in any way be used by the employer, as creating an electronic signature with it by anyone other than the person named in the certificate is a criminal offence.
