How to renew online?

We recommend that you send the order, or its electronic version with the qualified signature well before it expires, because a valid qualified certificate is necessary to go through the next stages of the certificate renewal process.

The documents should be printed, delivered to the authorised persons for signing and sent back to KIR.

The documents can be signed with a qualified electronic signature by representatives of the companies that have a set with a qualified certificate. If the authorised persons are not entered in the National Court Register (KRS) or the Central Registration and Information on Business (CEIDG), the documents should be accompanied by relevant powers of attorney, confirming their right to represent the Ordering Party.

Within 3 working days of the date on which KIR receives properly filled out original documents and confirms their correctness, the person for whom the order has been placed will receive a message informing how to renew the certificate on the card that such person holds.

The message will be sent only to the address specified in the order. Within 5 days of performing those actions, the subscriber will receive an e-mail with information about the prepared certificate and the instruction of its recording on the card.

The identity verification is based on a valid certificate of the Subscriber.

Once this stage is completed, the payment based on the invoice sent by KIR must be made. Invoices are issued within 7 days from the date of generation of the certificate. Payments must be made to the account indicated on the invoice.

Detailed instructions on how to renew the certificate can be found in the manual.
