What is the difference between a Graphite card and a Carbon card?

Graphite and Carbon cards differ in their serial numbers. The first four characters of the serial number are important:
- Graphite card – the card serial number starts with 1112… or 1212... or 1312....
- Carbon card – the card serial number starts with 1012...
IMPORTANT: Qualified certificates on Carbon cards and Graphite cards (with serial numbers starting with 1112....) are no longer issued.
